Very worth it?

Hi,

When I bought something at a cheap price, can I say that "It is very worth it." ?

Thank you.

thank you Neeraj Jain!
May I know what would be a better phrase to describe the excitement when people get a good deal?

Hi,

A native English-speaker is likely to use 'a bargain' or, possibly, 'great value for money' here:

For example:

1. "These shoes that I've just bought were an absolute bargain!"
2. "These shoes were great value for money!"

Hi,
Yes, you can pay a low price, but the item is not worth even that if it does not work.

In addition to the ones suggested, here are a few more phrases for considerations:

A -I bought this suit at Macy's clearance sale for $99.
B-
That's a steal!

That’s a great deal

What a bargain

'Very worth it' doesn't sound right to my native ear, but 'very much worth it' sounds fine.

I woudl say that "very much worth it" or "well worth it" is used to justify spending a lot of money (or at least, not a surprisingly small amount).

Admisssion to Longwood Gardens is $16, but it's well worth it!

It doesn't work for me to say that it's was "very much worth it" or "well worth it" if you spent only a tiny amount of money on something.
