"very little difference" / "few people"

When someone says "very little difference", it means there is not any difference at all or there is some and then, do we have to know the difference?

When someone says "few people", it means there is not anyone or there are some, and then should we know how many of them?

Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!!

AnonymousWhen someone says "very little difference", it means
It means insignificant difference, and you can over look it.
For example: It makes very little difference if now she tries to alter her statement, since we already have the proof of her confessing it in the first place.
Same goes for the other.
