I am aware that the correct phrase is very much against-- but I am curious as to the use and frequency of the phrase very against among native speakers. If you heard a native speaker use the underlined phrase, would these two words grate on your ears or would you just treat the phrase like an informal use of language?
Thanks,
Tom
