I have a problem with collocations, so, what are the verbs used to express the meaning of increasing or decreasing the volume of TV or Radio ?

Here's my opinion.

If you say 'please' in your original query, that's enough.

If you don't, say 'thank you' when someone answers you.



I'm constantly amazed by the number of people here who say neither 'please' nor 'thank you'.
