What sort of house do you want to have? Something big?
Well, it __Can't__ be big-that’s not important.

Why uses " Can't", not " needn't" ? It says that being big is not important, but it doesn't mean it has to be NOT BIG, it still can be big as long as it meets other critria.

If their marketing plans succeed, they ____ their sales by 20 percent.

The correct answer for this is " will increase", I don't understand why it's not " would increase" since it says " succeed" ? If it means " If their marketing plans is succeed, they will increase their sales by 20%." , then why it misses " IS" ? Please explain this structure for me, thanks,.
