Verbs

Hi, I need help finding out if the verb is weak , passive voice, nominalization

and rewrite the sentence.

This is the sentence: Prolonged use of the battery can cause it to become drained of its energy.



I would say the verb is weak? and rewrite it as follows;



Prolonged use of the battery will cause it to become drained of its energy.



Does that sound right? Thank you for your help.
