No dictionary, except perhaps the full Oxford English Dictionary , will list every part of speech that a word can assume. For example, every noun can be used attributively as an adjective, and the dictionaries therefore do no waste ink mentioning that every time. Similarly, the present participle of every verb can be used as a noun.
