Verb used with object?

I looked up the word 'install' in my dictionary and it said above it in brackets 'verb used with object', now I'm just wondering what are the verbs that are not used with objects? Can you give me an example?

Most verbs are either transitive or intransitive. A transitive verb takes an object:
