Verb: Used to

Edward Coke was an army officer, but he is in prison now.

used to --> indicate the past

I live in the US. I am living in the US.

(with the future, don't know why, I don't want to use live...I am prompted to use move to...Somebody help?)

I guess there is no equivalent for this verb, since it only expresses something that was true in the past and no longer exist.
