Verb Phrase

Can someone tell me whether I have correctly identified the verb phrase (underlined) in the following sentence?

1. They have taken a long time to organise the match.

Thank you, Clive. Appreciate your help.

Yes, I should agree that I have an immense problem identifying verb phrases. I shall read the article at Wikipedia, and if I have any problems, I shall come back to the Forum for help.

Thank you again, Clive.
