patri is there some relation in terms of meaning to help me to memorize the groups ? Not very often, no. Sometimes you'll find a few verbs that have similar meanings which all take the same verb pattern, but often you'll find that there is no consistently coherent grouping of verbs, so you have to memorize most of them separately.

Ok. thanks a lot. I'll try to memorize them, thought it is not easy at all. In the case of suggest / recommend you have to put ing after them??
if you want to put an object, should i say: I suggest that you go... ???

thanks

patriI suggest that you go...

I [recommend / suggest] asking about it if you are unsure.
OR
I [recommend / suggest] that you ask about it if you are unsure.

Many learners try to construct the pattern I [recommend /
