"verb object as preposition noun" structure

1.If we decide to regard it as from two sources, since it is two sources of the 'same' light, Young's law of interference tells us it will produce interference fringes.

2.We can also think of it as from an interaction.

I have several question on these two sentences, especially about the parts "regard it as from two sources", "think of it as from an interaction".

Q1) Are the two sentences grammatical and correct English?

(I have sometimes used the structure of the part, not knowing whether it's grammatical)

Q2) Do "as from two sources" and "as from an interaction" describe the "it" in "regard it" and "think of it"?

(I'd think so because with this analysis, both sentences make sense)
