Is it possible to say "I was trembled when my mother pointed at me."
For some reason, saying was here before the word trembled sounds a bit strange. It's possible here it's an adjective to describe the noun . Also, is it true that certain verbs (in this case "tremble") don't take "to be", because normally it's "I trembled", right?
Thank you.

No. 'Tremble' is an intransitive verb, which means that it cannot appear in passive voice. I trembled when my mother pointed at me.

I trembled when my mother pointed at me.
It is not an adjective in your original.
I don't see how it could be an adjective in any sentence.
