Verb after did

Did she get the job she wanted?

Why we add ed in the next verb?

In the 2 form

And the first one in the base form

Doesn't ( didn't ) effect the second verb?

Always only first verb?

"the job she wanted" = "the job that she wanted". The relative clause "(that) she wanted" modifies "job" and has nothing to do
