hello i'm doing my dissertation now, it is a general inquiry
i'm planing to do a survey with 20 questions, the issue is i don't know how to analyze it, in research books there are these complicated methods , variables, analysis etc,
my question is is it ok do to the survey in survey monkey and let the website analyze the answers? i'm just thinking that my survey is rather short and i'm not sure if the survey monkey analysis will be good for master's level. no one in my uni explained it to us. would spss analysis fit here? i'm doing work on social issues no numbers, focusing on the importance of organizational culture in managing diversity,

"ask my workmates about their perceptions of how the company is managing diversity....."
It seems to me that you are seeking to analyze (by seeking the opinion of your responders) something like employee satisfaction, rather than the culture of the organization. The level of employee satisfaction is an element of the analysis of a corporate culture. M

The purpose of a Master's thesis is to train you in critical thinking - eg how to propose a thesis, determine how to acquire the data that will be the basis for the analysis, and how to analyze the data that you get. So I recommend that you read a book such as these:
