Vendetta

If you look at meaning 2 of vendetta by clicking on this link http://oald8.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/dictionary/vendetta, you'll notice it says "vendetta (against somebody)". Does that mean you MUST put "against xyz" after "vendetta"? Or is it ok to say, for example, "I don't have any vendettas." (rather than "I don't have any vendettas against anyone."

Thank you
