Vegetation

Is it possible to see vegetations?
I mean whether it's countable.
Could anybody help me with it?

Many thanks in advance.

It is only possible if you are having a discussion on ecology or related fields, where different habitats display different vegetations. For instance, a country could have several vegetations: an alpine vegetation, a grassland vegetation, a volcanic vegetation. Still, my reference work is entitled The Flora and Vegetation of Japan , so the word remains strongly uncountable.
