Various questions, mostly concerning using software

Hello,

I am from Germany and I have to translate Powerpoint presentations for my boss.
The presentations deal are sort of a manual for a Microsoft Access program and is provided in a step-by-step manner.
My questions are:

Do you say "go to the folder?", e.g. when you double-click a folder?
Do you say "return to the folder?"
Do you say "on the right side of the window, you can find" or is it "you can see", "you find" or something completely different?
Can you use the word "definiton" when you talk about entering data in a table, which then gives you an overview of the components of a whole system?
Do you use the word "system" when you talk about a switchgear cabinet or a control cabinet? Or would you rather say "plant"?
Do you say "right-click the button"?
Do say "go to the category" when you want somebody to move the mouse pointer to a certain category on the screen?

Do you call the windows in Microsoft Windows forms when you make selections within that window?

I know these are a lot of questions and I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me out here.

Thank you in advance and best wishes

C.S.

Thank you for responding so quickly.

By cabinet I mean something like this: By category, I mean for example moving the mouse pointer on this site to 'Teachers' or 'Students'. But without clicking anything.

By form, I mean something like this.
The definition is a little bit complicated to explain.
A sentence like 'The definition of the wires', i.e. you enter which wires you

Thank you for your explanations and illustrations. You may get other responses different than mine; I am looking at these from a layman's viewpoint.

Dear Anon,

For the photo presented by you I have to say there is a technical word for it.

We call it "Hub" which means: a center of activity or interest; a focal point.
