Does this contain redundancy?

"This complex area of engineering can be deconstructed into various different areas: aeronautical engineers who deal with aircraft which fly within our ..."

"various different" is OK but the "area ... areas" repetition is noticeable and not ideal. I would suggest finding another word to replace one of those instances, but "aeronautical engineers" are not an "area" nor any word with similar meaning, so it won't be quite right.
