Which are natural please?


Is it correct to say “drop by half” or “go down by half” in the below?


A new car will lose almost half its value as soon as you drive it off the lot.

The value of a car will drop by almost half once you drive it off the lot.

The value of the car will go down by almost half once you drive it off the lot.


Are these all used by native speakers?


Property value has dropped by 10% since...

The value of property has dropped by 10% since...

There has been a 10% drop in property value since...

Property has gone down in value by 10% since...
