Vocabulary

Vague sentence

Can you please, help me make the meaning clearer? Thank you

Although depending on whether the data from "peace" or "conflict area" is being analysed there are certain differences in the number of factors as well as in the amount of the variance which is explained by different predictors, in both cases dominant predictors are certain similar sets of values.

what a long sentence... there're 38 words before the "," what's your expertise? I searched " dominant predictor " on Google, and got only 25 results (with the "Search Lanaguage" set to my mother language - still I got only English articles)
