I was wondering if you put words like "his" and "the" in front of a noun that is a variable noun, what then is the nature of the noun after having put those words. I know if you put the indefinite article 'a', then it becomes countable, but if we frame the noun with "his" or "the" or "yesterday", do we always have something (some noun?) countable?
