Vacancy

1) "We have a vacant position of an assistant."

2) "We have a vacancy of an assistant."

3) "We have a vacancy for the position of an assistant."

4) "We have a vacancy for an assistant position."

5) "We have an open position for an assistant."

Could you tell me which sentences are correct. Some of them don't sound right but I came across them on the Internet.

I also think that the indefinite article could be omitted in some of these examples. I have certainly heard people do it. I guess that if I was referring to a specific position (Sales Manager), I could skip the indefinite article.

Thank you.

The third one is the best of that lot. However, try to be more specific; e.g.:

We have a vacancy for the position of Kitchen/Sales/Office/Clerical Assistant.
