Usually it takes more than one session to know (if...)

Client: You can't help me.

Therapist: Usually it takes more than one session to know.

(the client has only been to one session when he concludes the therapist can't help him)

Is the therapist's line perfectly natural and enough to be understood, or should more be added to the sentence, like "...to know if..."
