usually always?

Hi, I came across this question and need your suggestion.

If you choose to live with parents after graduation, there are obvious advantages of living at home--personal laundry is usually___ done along with the family wash.

still; alwasy; habitually; consequently Which one is the best choice?

Thank you

the correct choice are always, habitually and usually. if you ask me i would choose usually . But there is a slim line between them because choosing one of them is about perspective.

Hi yunus,

Thank you for your note. The weird thing about this blank filling is you need to decide whether it is "is usually always done" or "is usually consequently done". One word is needed after the word "usually". How do you think?

Thanks

Always - it cannot be usually AND always as the two contradict each other

usually and habitually mean much the same thing so the habitually would be redundant

usually consequently just doesn't work

I agree with Nona. "usually always" isn't going to work at all. It has to be "usually still".
