Using "would" twice in a sentence

Hey,

I was wondering if using "would" in the following manner is considered grammatically correct:

"I would prefer boiling water on my hands before I would allow you to to this."

The grammar is OK, but the sentence is not idiomatic. We would say something more like this:

I would put my hands in boil
