I've read that "will" can be used to talk about future facts or things that will definitely happen in the future. Is this correct?

I will graduate in one month.

I'll quit my job next year.

Yes. (Strictly speaking, we can almost never say that something will definitely happen in the future, but in the everyday sense of "definitely as far as we know / can tell", yes.)
