Using "While" without a verb

Hi,

I'm writing my SOP and it has a paragraph in which I explain about my career and what tasks I had when I was working in a certain company. After that I have below sentance which I'm not sure if it's correct:

While at XYZ company, I worked on a number of projects.

Is it correct to use "While" without an ing verb? Or should I write something like:

While I was working at XYZ company, I worked on a number of projects.

Or do you have any better suggestion for the first part of the sentence?

thanks

Hi, While at XYZ company , I worked on a number of projects. This is fine. You have given no context, but perhaps you could omit 'while'.
