Using "until" twice in one sentence

I'm wondering about the second use of "until" in a sentence such as:

"It won't be until February until I know whether I've been accepted."

Shouldn't this be:

"It won't be until February that I know whether I've been accepted."

The more I try to figure it out, the more confused I get.
Any help would be appreciated.

Or you could say

"It will be February before I know whether I've been accepted."

The more I try to
