Hello everyone,
I have some questions. I am preparing for the IELTS exam and wonder whether should I use thereto/thereby/ etc where is possible. I am not sure that It is a good idea or not and what are the effects of using them, negative or positive.
Of course, I mean that they are used correctly and accuretly.
anonymous wonder whether should I use thereto/thereby/ etc No. You should not go into any exam with a list of words in your head that you think you should use in the exam. Use only the words you are thoroughly familiar with, words that you have been using with confidence for some time.

You might get away with "thereby", but "thereto" will tip everyon
