Using then with past perfect

Hi ,

I am used to sentences in which we use the conj. then to talk about more than an action which happened in the past

but can we use past perfect with this conj.

Can i say i had done my homework then i played video games ?

No, that's not very natural. We say it like this:

After I had done my homework, I played video games.
