Using then at the end

Hi,

please consider this small dialog. Is using then in the underlined sentence right? If not, what to use at the end to mean that word?

A: He is our new teacher.

B: Do you know him?

A: No.

B: How could you recognize him then?

(Then how could you recognize him?)
