Using the word "using"

Hey,

I wonder for some time now, when can I use the word "using".

In heberew, my language, one can say: "I will send you the parcel, using FedEx courier" (for example).

In my proffession I'm working with customers from around the world.

But I wasn't sure whether it's acceptable in English.

Now I received an E-Mail from a customer who used this phrase.

So, please help me and let me know whether it's OK in this context, to use the word "using".

Thank You!
