Using the word "that" more than once in a single sentence?

This sentence seems incorrect to me, but I can't explain why:

"A mask is something that you wear that covers your face."

It seems to me that the first "that" is unnecessary and can be omitted altogether, but is it grammatically incorrect to have it there? And the second "that" bothers me in general, it just doesn't seem to belong at all.

In either case, is the sentence grammatically incorrect? If so, I'd appreciate an explanation. Thanks in advance!
