Using the word "has" in a sentence twice

Sorry for the complicated sentence. :\
I am trying to re-write this without having to use the word "has" twice.

Customer support has been a rewarding experience that has given me the opportunity to apply my critical thinking skills and passion for technology to help people.

Then I shortened it to this:

"Working in customer support has given me the opportunity to help people by applying my critical thinking skills and passion for technology. It has been a rewarding experience..."

It seems to be longer. I suggest:

Working in customer support has allowed me to apply my critical thinking skills and passion for technology. Helping people has been a rewarding experience.
