Using the infinitval or not.

Anything wrong with this, IYO?

And how about these?

Finding suitable accomodation continued difficult for Sarah.

Do you prefer the infinitival?

"continue" takes the infinitive in the variety of English that I speak (American English), so I would not use those examples that omit the "to be". The weather continues to be cold. Finding suitable acco mm odation s continued to be difficult for Sarah.
