Using 'the' here

I have heard people saying like is that the Chris ? the pretty Chris ?
What's the function of 'the' here. And can we even use it before a person name like 'the Chris'
Please explain this to me, I'll really appreciate it.

Could you give a bit more context? It is possible, for example, to say "Is that the Chris we met on holiday?" or "I'm talking about the pretty Chris, not the plain one." Is that the sort of thing you mean?

Your examples are fine but in general chats I heard a native friend of mine shouting a name of his friend like ' Oh it's the Chris, the pretty Chris!!!' like that. So, I'm asking you about this sort of thing.
