Using several adjectives to describe a noun

"Miriam drove up in a small, battered, rusty station wagon"

Hi. Is it possible to keep adding several adjectives without including the and at the last adjective?

Thank you

I would normally do that if I limit the adjective count to two. In your sentence, using "and" is the better way to go.

Strings of adjectives become clunky quickly in any case, but how far you can go depends partly on the length, complexity and collocational status of the adjectives. The use of 'and' is rather secondary in consideration, I think.
