Using maybe/probably in the same sentence?

Hello,
I am no good at the English and I was wondering if a sentence with both 'may be(maybe?)' and 'probably' is grammatically correct.

The question came up when I was having a conversation with a friend who said:
"Maybe I am just not ready."

I wanted to to reply with the following:
"Maybe your not ready but I think that you probably are."

I wanted to acknowledge the doubt, or any possibility of doubt by their use of 'maybe' and then emphasis a positive outlook by using 'probably' but for some reason that sounds/looks odd. Possibly a contradiction even?

There might be better ways to phrase my response as a whole but I'd like to focus on these 2 specific words.
