Using 'make' + infinitive

Please help! Which is correct: "I cannot make the boss to wait," or "I cannot make the boss wait."

After the verbs make, have, and let, an infinitive loses its 'to'.

make them leave, have him wait, let us go

Thank you for your answers. I googled both "I cannot make the boss to wait," or "I cannot make the boss wait," but the grammar generators I used didn't find anything wrong with "I cannot make the boss to wait." Can someone please explain why? Thank you in advance.
