Using "make" in sentences

Which of these sentences is correct and more common?
  1. The show made us be happy.
  2. The show made us happy.


To me both are correct with a little difference in meaning!

All the opinions say that "the show made us be happy" is correct. Once again have a look at it. It's updated.
And, I referred to that person because, to me, he is at the same level as MM on English.

Let's extend the issue by giving another example:

First, the structure is Subject + make + object + bare infinitive

Now consider this sentence please: The teacher

But why talking about marginal questions. The real question here is this:
