Using 'leisure - pastimes - entertainment

Could anyone help me with this question? Thanks in advance.
This is the extract from a passage about news junkies. Here it is:

Actually, I think the correct answer is 'entertainment' and that the answer key is wrong. 'Leisure' does not make sense at all.
