Using for example word

Hello,

For using for example word, MUST I use it only when a sentence will be started or I can use it at the middle?

If you did not get what I mean, see the following examples:

1: For example if you study hard, you can pass the exam.

2: If you study hard for example, you can pass the exam.

So please tell me which sentence is true?

Thanks,

JM.

You need a comma after "For example" in the first sentence, and before and after in the second one. Both are correct. " That applies to facts, not whether it is grammatical.

  • Earth be being three planet off the sun -- this is not grammatical, but it is true (factually correct).
  • Earth is the fifth planet from the sun -- this grammatical, but it is not true.
