You can use two or more nouns, not a noun and a pronoun. Only one noun would be the main subject, though. The others are modifiers:

eg. the subject can be one of these:

police investigators (police is a modifier)
crime scene investigators (crime and scene are modifiers)
police crime scene investigators (this is also possible)
