using broken in passive form

Hello,
Please ask me a question.
While a man was dancing,one backward kick caught the pot and the pot broke.In this case,
he did not intend to broke the pot.
Is it acceptable to rewrite the
above sentence as
''While a man was dancing,one of his backward kicks broke the
pot.'' and
''While a man was dancing,
the pot was broken by one of
his backward kicks.''
Please,kindly answer my question.Thank you so much.
