using at/from

Hello! I was wondering if I used the wrong preposition in this sentence: I think it's the third button at the bottom.

Someone corrected me and said it should be "from the bottom." So was I really wrong? The context was I was referring to the button on a webpage. Thanks!

"third button from the bottom" means that there are two other buttons below it. "third button at the bottom" probably means the third of three or more buttons that are grouped together at the bottom of the page.

Oh so I was right then because there were 4 buttons in a row and I was referring to the third one.

Thanks so much!
