Using anyways in a sentence

Can you show me how you would use the word "anyways" in a sentence? I keep having a disagreement with my girl that I use the word "anyways" wrong in a sentence.

'Anyways' is a wrong word .
It's 'anyway'.

It's not wrong since one can use it in colloquial speech! "Anyways" is used in speech particularly in North America. Does the word "descriptive grammar" ring a bell?

It's an archaic word that was used primarily back in the 13th century. Although it's recognized as colloquial, especially in the US, it should never be used in print; as it's not proper English.
