Using "Account For" In A Sentence

I am not sure which of the three below are grammatically correct, or if they're all fine.


1) There is a wide range of factors that account for why accidents occur.


2) There is a wide range of factors that account for the occurrence of accidents.


3) There is a wide range of factors that account for accidents.
