I have seen one sentence - 'I'm getting a cold' . Why should we use 'a' here? Without 'a' in the above, 'I'm getting cold' . Is this right or wrong sentence?
Top answer
I'm getting cold = The temperature here is lowering. I'm getting a cold = I'm getting sick (flu or something).
