using a comma after a period in an abbreviation?

Is it appropriate to use a comma in the following context?

... to be held today at 4p.m., followed by a Burial Service at...

Or would you drop the comma?

Cheers,

I am looking around for the answer to this question too! I am revising my resume. I have to abbreviate the word "corporation" inorder to match the formatting in the rest of the page. So I wanted to know:

Should I use a comma after "Corp." (abbreviation for 'Corporation', of course)?

Hi,

I'd keep the comma, but drop the periods from 'p.m.',

ie

... to be held today at 4 pm, followed by a Burial Service at...

I don't see a need for the comma. I would drop the comma.

That is, of course, your choice. You may want to review the references given, however, before you do.

First off, thanks for the forum.

Another question regarding "Inc.". Should one use a period after the period in Inc. at the end of a sentance? for example, "Thank you for introducing me to XYZ, Inc.." or "...me to XYZ, Inc."

Thanks again...
